I don't know where to put this, so I'll start here. In the past 3 games that I've seen Life Church play, they're defense was pretty solid and consistent. In order to score against them, you need to have line drive hits or park them over the fence. They can play most grounders and all pop-ups. Remember to wait for your pitch. Don't swing at the high ones. Last week, too many times players were going for pitches that were too high or too low and popping them up.

As for their offense, they have some good hitters, and most are good, smart and quick base runners. Last week against Calvary they did swing at a lot of junk. #2 is able to hit them off and over the fence. They won their first game against Silver 2 weeks ago because Silver was popping up a lot of balls. Life was hitting balls that were playable, but scored runs due to Silver's errors. I believe Silver got their act together for the second game and won.

This Crossroads team is capapble of taking both games from Life Church. If you start and end as solid as you were in the game against New Life, you can win.

Gabe should have a pretty detailed scouting report for you before the game.
