Revelation 10:6 ‘there should be time no longer’ –kjv

‘Time shall be no more’ it’s from a hymn. The same hymn mentions when ‘morning breaks’

Scripture contains many evidences of heaven
(read on p. 258)

Is time good or bad?

6th day of creation was followed by a day of rest: time is not a mark of the world’s fallen state.

Can we live outside of time and space?

Time isn’t the enemy, death is: 1 Cor. 15:26

How does time work against us now?

Time won’t work against us. We won’t run out of it. Time will bring gain, not lost.

Does the passing of time threaten us?

Not in heaven. It will bring new adventures without a sense of loss for what must end.

We will live with time, no longer under it’s pressure.

Will the new earth have sun, moon, oceans & weather?

Will earth have a sun and moon?

Isaiah 60:19-21

None of these verses actually says there will be no more sun or noon. The new Jerusalem will not need their light, they will be outshone by God’s glory.

The emphasis isn’t on the elimination of sun and moon, but on their being overshadowed by the greater light of God.
Who needs a reading lamp in the middle of the noon sun?

Rev 22:5 ‘There will be no more night’ –p. 264. Is this figurative or literal?

Psalm 19:1 –The heaven’s glorify God. But we must be able to see them.

How do you think the sea was viewed by ancient people?

The core meaning: no more cold, treacherous waters that separate nations, destroy ships, drown loved ones. No more creatures swallowing up seafarers, no poisoned salt waters.

Where will the river of life flow to? Rev. 22:1-2

Isaiah 60:5 ‘the wealth of the seas will be brought to you.

Imagine swimming or snorkeling effortlessly for hours, without masks or tanks. Fresh water in which you can view and play with God’s creatures of the deep. Instead of salt water, it will be pure, refreshing, life giving sweet water

Will there be seasons? -267

Ezekiel 34:26-27

Job 37:3-6 lightning, thunder, rain and snow all declare God’s greatness.

When we live in the new earth, could we go hiking in a snowstorm without fear of trauma or death?

Jump of a cliff into a river 300 ft below?

Must the new earth be tamed?

Who are the seasons from? God. Jeremiah 5:24

Will there be seasons on the new earth? Why wouldn’t there be?
